Korvoth’s parents and birthplace are unknown, as he was very young when the Albino raided the colony his family was living on in the 2280’s. He survived but was critically injured and placed in stasis by Klingon doctors until advanced medical supplies could be transported to them. Unfortunately, the Albino raided the colony a second time and everyone was killed—except for an infant, forgotten in stasis…

He was discovered in 2345 by Klingons exploring the world and was transported to Qo’noS where his injuries were treated and a family of warriors took him in, a little-known but honorable line of Klingons. Kolth and Mar’ka (then ages 46 and 45) raised him as a proud and honorable warrior and were as much his parents as any family bound by blood.

Korvoth, although a great fighter who had the potential to become a tactical officer, was not raised by a family of noble blood and spent several long years trying again and again to prove himself to the Empire.

He was finally accepted as an officer when the Klingons were in need of reinforcements for the war with the Federation. Korvoth grew to despise Starfleet, though he grudgingly saw the sense in a cease-fire with them when the Dominion infiltration was exposed. He was, however, astounded when the Romulans then joined the alliance. Because of his experience with the Albino he had a burning hatred for all traitors, and he knew, as all Klingons know, that the Romulans deserve that name more than any other race.

He was given command of a ship a few months before the final battle with the Dominion. It was a fine ship that was built for him, the batlh SalwI’, he named it, for the name means “ascender of honor” or “thing which ascends honor”. He had spent years climbing the staircase of honor, and he knew this ship was his key to reaching the top.

The Federation earned a grudging respect from him after the Dominion War, as he had seen that they were honorable allies to fight with in battle. However, this respect came to a permanent end when—and he still can’t believe it—they actually delivered supplies to the Romulans during the Klingon advance!

Korvoth joined the House of Kos’karii as he saw them to be honorable but also intelligent Klingons, and he now waits with them on Qo’noS while his ship undergoes modification for the coming war. He cannot wait to once again taste glorious battle!
