Fighting Technique
Kolth, Korvoth's adoptive father or tIqvav (heart-father), as his son called him, believed that for a warrior to have an honorable future, he had to understand the past and learn from it. Thus, he began teaching his son how to fight with a bat'leth at age three. In fact, Korvoth never even learned to fire a disruptor until his training as an officer.
